Jorge and Liliana

The essence of the art of dancing lies

in the realm of the soul and heart; it is not the intellect,

but the emotions from which the dance takes off.

Jorge, a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, learned tango from Argentinean teachers Carlos Loyola, Nito and Elba, Armando and Daniela Arcuri, Miguel Angel Pla, Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa, Eva Lucero and Patricio Touceda, Alex Krebs (USA), Daniel Lapadula, Aurora Lubiz, Jorge Firpo, Miriam Larici and Hugo Patyn, Valeria Zunino and Pablo Nievas, Leonardo & Carlos Barrionuevo, etc.

A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Liliana took tango classes with well known and respected teachers such as Rodolfo Dinzel, Mimi Santapa', Aurora Lubiz and many others. She has also taken workshops in Portland, Vancouver and Victoria with visiting teachers such as Eduardo Saucedo, Miguel Angel Pla, Tony and Ilana, Eva Lucero and Patricio Touceda, Daniel Lapadula, Cecilia Gonzalez, Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa, Homer and Cristina, Miriam Larici and Hugo Patyn, Valeria Zunino and Pablo Nievas, etc.

The emphasis in their classes is always on the very fundamentals of Argentine Tango, whether Salon Style or Milonguero Style:
    - the importance of basic steps
    - the connection with partner and with music
    - the displacement on the dancing floor
    - the ability of the leader and the follower united, without judgement or resistance, to connect powerfully in the tango embrace, enjoying the closeness and intimacy of the dance partner for the duration of a tango. Some sort of bliss!
